Visualize relationships for selected profiles

You can take a look at the relationships for a profile to confirm its accuracy.

In the Graph view, you can view the relationships for a selected profile. You can hover over the line connecting the nodes to view the type of relationship between the two entities. You can also view the entity and relationship details in the Relationship tab on the right pane. In this tab, the entity name is a link, which when clicked, will display relationship details for the entity in the graph.

Important: The ability to create groups of related entities is not supported in the new UI.

To visualize relationships for selected profiles:

  1. In the Dashboard in Hub, select the profile whose details you want to view. For more information about searching for a profile, see Working with the Main Search Page.
  2. From the left navigation pane, click Profile > Graph. The Graph perspective is displayed on the right pane.

  3. From the Graph Type dropdown, select All. For more information about graph layouts, see topic Select a graph type .
  4. From the Graph layout dropdown, select Simple network. The relationships details for the selected profile are displayed in a Simple network graph. For more information about graph layouts, see topic Select a graph layout.
  5. Click and hold the graph to move it around.
  6. Click the + icon on a node to view the relationship connections for that node. In the screenshot above, let us click on the Holly Fields node to view its relationships.

    Now, the Graph will display the relationship between the newly selected node (in this case Holly Fields) with the other entities. This relationship is marked with a blue line. You can click any other node to view its data.

  7. Hover over the line connecting two nodes to view the type of relationship between them. For example, if you hover over the line connecting the main entity and Holly

  8. Click the Relationship tab on the right pane to view entity and relationship details for the selected node.

  9. To go back to viewing the relationship details for the main entity selected, click on the main node again.
