Filter details in the Activity log

Learn how to filter information displayed in the Activity log.

In the Activity log, you can view user activities across a tenant. For example, when a user views or updates a profile, you can view these activity details in the Activity log. For more information, see Activity Log perspective . You can also filter these details to view activities of a specific type or belonging to a specified time period.

To filter details in the Activity log:

  1. In the Dashboard, select the Activity log facet.
    OR
    In the Search page in the Reltio Hub, select a profile and from the left navigation, select Profile > Activity Log.
  2. In the Activity log, select the Filter icon on the right-hand side of the page.
  3. From the Activity dropdown list, select the activity type to filter activity details. You can select more than one activity type here. If you select only the Profile updated activity here, then the following extra filters are displayed:
    1. From the Type dropdown list, select the entity type to view activity details for that type. This filter is available only in the Activity log facet in the Dashboard.
    2. From the Attribute dropdown list, select the attribute to filter the activity details. For example, if you select the Address attribute, the activities that relate to any update in the profile's address details are filtered.
    3. From the Source dropdown list, select the source to filter activities belonging to the selected source.
      Note: These filters are optional and can be skipped.
  4. In the Date field, select any one of the following options to specify the time period to filter activity details:
    • Within the last - Enter a number in the first field and select the time frame from the dropdown field. For example, enter 4 in the field and select Months to view log in details for the last 4 months.
    • More than - Enter a number and select the time frame from the dropdown list. For example, enter 4 in the field and select Hours to view activity details more than 4 hours old.
    • Date Range - Select the From and To dates and select Update. You’ll view activity details for the specified date range. For example, select 01-01-2021 - 31-01-2021 to view details for the month of January, 2021.
  5. From the User dropdown list, select the user whose activity log details you want to view.
  6. Select Apply to view the filtered activity log details.
