Flexible Entity Resolution Network (FERN)
- LLM-based matching for Individual domain
- This model just stepped up from Early Access (EA) to General Availability (GA). Use this pretrained FERN model to match attributes in internal and external source data for the Individual type entity. Configure Individual entity matches based on attributes such as name, phone number, and email address.
- LLM-based matching for Organization domain
- This new model joins our line up at this release. Use this pretrained FERN model to match attributes in internal and external source data for the Organization type entity. Configure Organization entity matches based on attributes such as DoingBusinessAsName, Tax ID, and WebsiteURL.
- Faster matching with FERN
- We've combined our FERN and rule-based matching components to accelerate your matching speed. The engine now defines and stores the matching rules for various entity types in a centralized catalog service, rather than recreating them in each tenant . In the Console Data Modeler Entity types, lift the hood on the Match page to manage your AI-powered FERN model with up to three match rules.

Search Before Create for Reltio Integration for Salesforce (with RIH)
In a previous release, we introduced the Reltio Integration for Salesforce (RIH) connector that uses RIH recipes to synchronize data between Reltio and Salesforce. We're now adding the Search Before Create (SBC) capability to this feature. SBC uses RIH recipes to search for records in Salesforce and Reltio, and imports the missing records into Salesforce.

Strengthened Enterprise Security - Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
We remain firm in our commitment to provide you with the highest level of security in our platform with this enhancement to further safeguard access to your Reltio accounts.
- Enhanced Security with Multi-Factor Authentication
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an additional layer of security by requiring you to provide a second form of verification in addition to your password. This makes it much harder for attackers to gain access to accounts. Even if a your password is compromised, the second verification factor prevents unauthorized access. Reltio offers the following two MFA options that you can set up from the Applications menu:
- App-based MFA: You can generate a Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) using an authentication app like Google Authenticator, Okta Verify, or Microsoft Authenticator. For more details, see Enroll for app-based MFA.
- Email-based MFA: You will receive a verification code via email each time you log in. This will be the default method unless you opt for app-based MFA. For more details, see topic Enroll for email-based MFA.
For information on the corresponding APIs, see topic MFA Setup APIs.
For additional details, see our full announcement Multi-Factor Authentication Now Available.
Note: Reltio starts to enforce MFA enablement automatically on 04-Nov-2024. For more details, see topic Enable MFA. - Clients restricted by tenant
- Say goodbye to customer-specific client access and hello to improved security with tenant-specific clients. Previously, each client could access all tenants under their corresponding customer. Now, you can specify the tenants that clients may access, ensuring access segregation among your environments. Existing clients remain unchanged; you have the option to explicitly remove individual tenants from them to restrict their access. For more information, see this Console UI topic Add new client and this API topic Create a customer client.
- Reminder: Migrate service accounts from password to client credentials authentication
- Just a reminder to start migrating your service accounts to client credentials as soon as possible. This is crucial for ensuring the continuous operation of your automated processes and integrations, as well as maintaining security and compliance. For more details, see topic Migrating service accounts from password to client credentials authentication.
- Single Sign-On (SSO)/Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) implementation dates extended
- We've changed the dates for implementing Single Sign-On (SSO)/Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) feature. For more information, see topic Enhance your security with Single Sign-On (SSO) and prepare for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Improved Role Based Access Control (RBAC) for RDM Data
- Granular role-based permissions
- Permissions are now reflected across the Reltio Connected Data Platform UI drop-downs and API responses that expose RDM lookup values. Users can only access information they are authorized to view or modify.
- Improved data visibility
- The RDM UI respects RBAC settings, with both the Lookup Types (including Hierarchy View and Activity Log) and Export page filtered based on user permissions. This ensures that users have visibility only into the data they are permitted to see.

Enhanced Delta Payload Streaming
The Reltio platform streams message into an external queue or topic in JSON format for consumption in downstream apps. This enhancement simplifies the downstream integrations.
- Improving data accuracy and integrity by ensuring consistent inclusion of values when streaming changed object attributes ("deltas").
- Streamlining integrations by supporting snapshot-selected fields along with delta streaming—no need for separate API calls.
- Enhancing operational efficiency by reducing complexity and simplifying data workflows.
- Simplifying downstream processing by accessing standard fields that are otherwise unavailable in delta streaming.

Configure partial overrides for specific nested attributes in your business configuration
The enableNestedPartialOverride option determines whether the Entities partially overrides nested attributes when you update an entity. Previously, you could only set this option at the tenant level, so it applied globally to all nested attributes in that tenant. Now, you can also configure this option for specific nested attributes in the business configuration. If you don't define this option at the attribute level, the API uses the tenant level configuration as a fallback, providing flexibility in managing nested attribute.

Hub user interface enhancements
- Persist tabular view of relationship facet in profile page
-
Previously, the Hierarchy facet in the Hub Profile view showed only the relation type and the start and end date attributes for relationships. You can now configure specific relationship attributes to display in this facet, for example:
- AffiliationSubType
- HierarchyCode
- AdditionalAttributes
- Pinned and ignored attributes in Advanced search UI
-
The options we introduced in a 2024.1 release to filter profiles by pinned and ignored attributes are now also available in the Advanced Search UI. For more information, see topic Advanced search with pinned or ignored attributes. For the API details, see topics Search for Pinned or Ignored Entity attributes and Search for Pinned or Ignored Relation attributes.
- Visible Attributes in Profile view
- When editing, suggesting, or viewing a profile, do you want attributes without values to show up in the Profile view? Configure your UI to include the alwaysVisible option for the attributes you want visible in all modes. This option applies to the Collaborative Profile Creation as well. For more information, see topic Display attributes in all modes.
- Directional arrows in Relationship UI
-
In the Hub Profile Relationship view, arrows depict relationships between the start and the end entity. We've corrected an error where the arrow directions and labels were inconsistent. Now the labels match the direction. For more information, see topic Detailed View of the Related entity.
- Streamlined Collaborative Profile Creation
-
Have you used the Collaborative Profile Creation feature, and its authoring workflow, to create profiles? Well, we've streamlined this process to make it even easier to accept or reject workflows. Now, instead of having to navigate to the notification Inbox, reviewers and approvers can approve or reject them directly in the Profile view. For more information, see topic Suggest and save profiles using the authoring workflow.

But wait, there's more!
- We crossed the T's on our Data Integration terminology
-
As we announced earlier this year, we simplified the terminology for the various types of connective and data exchange capabilities we provide. We dotted the I's in much of our sites and have now finished the renaming our cloud-platform pipelines in our user interface and documentation:
- FROM: Cloud Data Warehouse Pipelines
- TO: Data Pipelines

The Profile Relationship view previously showed all entity relationships; for high data volumes this sometimes led to performance issues. The new defaultRelationshipType parameter in your UI configuration file lets you set the Profile Relationship view to display only a default relationship type. Additionally, if you select a different relationship type in the Profile Relationship view, your preference is saved per entity type and applied the next time you open a profile of the same type.
