Meet our reimagined Documentation Portal

Get to the content you need at speed. Smarter and more intuitive–we've reimagined the Reltio Documentation Portal to get you to the information you need at higher speed, while offering a clean and visually appealing interface.
Reltio Documentation Portal
BeforeNow
Navigation optimization
Get to the right content in fewer clicks with our revamped structure:
  • Platform resources: Exploratory or occasional reference material on:
    • Reltio: Get to know our approach to trusted, interoperable data.
    • Products: Meet the Reltio Data Cloud™, Reltio Entity Resolution™, Reltio Multidomain Master Data Management (MDM), and Reltio Customer 360™.
    • Developer resources: Get usage guidance on REST APIs.
  • Personalized pathways: Tailored guidance for frequent, in-depth tasks:
    • Roles: Are you a Data Steward configuring data models? Walk this way! A Developer integrating APIs? We have your size! Whatever your role with the Reltio Data Cloud, we’ll set you down the right path.
    • Applications: Already know that you want to view profiles in the Hub or define your data model in the Console? Quick links get you there efficiently.
    • Objectives: Know what you need to get done, but not how to do it in our platform? Find content curated for specific goals, such as data integration or system administration.
Refined design lines
Our curated design makes finding and using documentation intuitive:
  • Color-coded tiles and icons: Distinguish platform resources from personalized paths.
  • Consistent section layouts: Navigate predictably through topics arranged by architecture, setup, navigation, operation, and resources.

This isn’t just a facelift—it’s a shift toward a user-focused, dynamic content platform. Think of it as evolving from a basic repository to a smart, adaptive resource that grows with your needs and Reltio’s innovations. For more information, see topic Get to know Reltio in Documentation Portal.

Important: The new structure and search make finding content easier. While redirects from the old portal are active, we may limit them if performance issues arise. Bookmark topics in the new portal for quick access—see Search content, for details.

Access Usage Reporting with ROLE_API
Users with the ROLE_API role can now access the Usage Reporting application, which was previously available only to users with the ROLE_ADMIN_TENANT role. Use this application to gain insights into API Calls, storage consumption, and consolidated profiles for your tenants. For more details, see topic Usage Reporting at a glance.
Consolidate your relationships

With the latest relationship consolidation enhancement, you can now manage relationship crosswalks more effectively. By enabling the contributorCrosswalkSingleSourceUpdateMode flag at the tenant or contributorCrosswalkSingleSourceUpdateMode relationship level, you ensure the system consolidates duplicate crosswalks from the same contributor, keeping only the most recent entry.

This helps in keeping the count of relationship crosswalks low preventing you to reach the crosswalk limit. This is specially useful when your source system creates new database entries instead updating existing entries for each update

When enabled, this feature identifies crosswalks with the same start and end objects, contributor, and relationship type, and automatically overwrites older entries with the latest one. The default behavior remains unchanged unless you explicitly enable the flag, so you can adopt this enhancement at your own pace. For more information, see topic Consolidating relationship crosswalks.

Next week—Redesigned Doc Portal ends release freeze!

On 09-Dec-2024, the newly redesigned Documentation Portal will be so hot off the press that it thaws out our release freeze! While the timing is a coincidence, we hope the new design helps you find the content you need faster.

The revamped portal will feature:

  • Improved navigation with a reorganized information architecture.
  • Enhanced design using color-coded tiles and icons tailored to your role, product, and market segment.

We look forward to your feedback after the launch. As for the releases, we'll freeze them again between December 23, 2024 - January 6, 2025.

Coming soon: Documentation Portal redesign—Get to what you want to know!
We're redesigning this portal to get you to the content you need along your chosen path:
  • Information architecture updated with standardized topics organized by product feature, making it easier for you to determine the location and type of content as you navigate the portal. Of course, we're continuing to improve the quality of content, so it's more useful once you find it.
  • Design updated to distinguish platform resources and navigation by personalization traits (such as roles, product lines, and market segments), so you can focus on the content that's relevant to what you're doing in Reltio Data Cloud.
We're launching the redesigned site 09-Dec-2024. This new structure and our federated search should make it easier to locate the information you need to succeed, but we'll redirect existing URLs to new content so you can find previously bookmarked topics.

We'll look forward to hearing your thoughts on these changes! Use the feedback buttons in individual topics and search results pages.

Mulesoft connector supports Mule runtime engine 4.6.0 and Java 17
The latest Mulesoft connector (2.5.0) now supports Mule Runtime Engine 4.6.0 and Java 17. This upgrade enhances performance, security, and API capabilities, aligning with third-party vendor updates that phase out Java 8. While there's no immediate impact on existing applications, we recommend you begin upgrading to Java 17 to ensure compatibility with integration apps, connectors, and API proxies dependent on Java. For more details, see topic Upgrade Java for the Mulesoft connector.
