Delete a graph type

Learn how to delete a graph type.

You can delete a graph type you created in the Data Modeler. However, you cannot delete inherited graph types.

To delete a graph type:

In the Console, select Data Modeler.
In the Data Modeler, select Graph types from the left navigation pane. You will see a list of existing graph types.
Hover over the graph type you want to delete.
Select Delete from the options displayed. You will see the following message asking for your confirmation.
Select Yes to delete the graph type.
You will also see inherited graph types in this list. Inherited graph types are defined in the L1/L2 configuration of your tenant, so cannot be deleted. When you hover over an inherited graph type, you will notice the delete option is disabled. If you hover over this option, you will see the following message:
