You can edit an existing generator based on your requirement. For example, you can change the name and type of a generator.

1. Log in to the Reference Data Management (RDM) application using your Reltio credentials.
   The RDM home screen appears:

   

2. Click Generators on the left navigation bar.
3. Click the generator you want to edit.
   The Edit generator dialog appears.

   

4. Edit the name or type as required. For example, for the Test Generator, the type is changed from UUID to Sequential. When you choose Sequential, you must specify a starting number for the sequence.
   Note: To delete the generator that you are editing, click DELETE.
5. Click DONE.
   The word EDITED is prefixed to the generator you edited.

   

   Note: If you do not want to save the changes, click DISCARD CHANGES.
6. To view lookup types associated with a generator, click on the number under the Lookup types used column.
   The following image shows that the Country (Address) lookup types is associated with the myID generator:

   

   If you click on a lookup type, you are rediretced to the mapping page. If you mouse over a lookup type, you can view the pencil icon at the end using which you can edit the lookup type (if required). For more information, see Editing a Lookup Type. If no lookup types are using a generator, the number 0 is displayed under the Lookup types used column. In this case, if you click on 0, the Edit generator dialog appears.
7. Click SAVE.
