Create an Interaction type

Learn how to create an interaction type in the Data Modeler.

This feature is available only in tenants provisioned for Reltio Intelligent 360.

Interaction is an action that involves one or more entities and generates recordable effect that can be logged as data. For example, an individual can send an email to others, or an organization can place a purchase order.

You can define different types of interactions and their taxonomies in the Business configuration of your Reltio tenant. This helps you model and manage how different entities engage.

Using the Data Modeler, you can:

  • Create and manage interaction definitions and related objects.
  • View and manage individual interaction components.
  • Define interaction type properties such as URI, label, and description.
  • Add mandatory member types to represent key participants in an interaction.
To create new Interaction types:
  1. Navigate to Data Modeler > Interaction types
  2. Select + CREATE NEW
