View the Activity log for segments

Learn to view the Activity log in the Segments page.

Create segments in the Segmentation page in the Hub. For more information, see topic Create a segment.
The Activity Log tab on the Segment screen displays create, update, and delete events related to the currently opened segment. These events are captured in the common activity log, giving you clear visibility into every change as it occurs.
To view the activity log for segments:
  1. In the Hub, select Segmentation from the left navigation pane.
    You see a list of segments displayed.
  2. In the Segments page, select the segment whose details you want to view. .

    You see the Definitions tab by default.

  3. Select the Activity Log tab.

    You will see a list of activities for the selected segment, which include segments updated, deleted, or created.

  4. To export the activity log details, select the Export option right above the table. You will see the following message that indicates export is in progress:

    Select the Export Application option to navigate to the Export application in Console and view the status of the export job.

  5. To filter the activity log details, select the Filter option right above the table.
    1. Select the activity related to segments that you want to view, which can be one of the following:
      • Segment created
      • Segment updated

      • Segment deleted

    2. Select the time period.
    3. Select Apply to view the list of activities based on the filter.
You can view the list of segments in the Activity log facet in the Profile Stats dashboard as well, as shown in the image below:

You can filter and export segment details from the dashboard facet too.
