Configure a Snowflake pipeline in the Console

Learn how to use the new UI to configure a Snowflake pipeline.

Before configuring a new Snowflake pipeline, ensure you are assigned these roles:
  • ROLE_ADMIN_TENANT
  • ROLE_API
For details, see topics ROLE_API Access permissions and ROLE_ADMIN_TENANT Access permissions.
To configure a new Snowflake pipeline:
  1. In the Console, select Data Pipelines. The Data Pipelines page lists any pipelines already configured or, if none, a note linking to the documentation.
  2. Select + NEW PIPELINE, and then select Snowflake.
    The Configure Snowflake pipeline page displays.

  3. In the Name field, enter the name of the pipeline, which is used to refer to the pipeline in the UI and API calls. The name must be alphanumeric, can be 3 to 20 characters in length, and should not contain any spaces.
  4. In the Authentication section, from the Cloud provider dropdown, select the cloud provider from the following options:
    1. Select AWS to configure a Snowflake pipeline for Amazon Web Services. For more information, see topic Configure a Snowflake pipeline for AWS in the Console.
    2. Select Azure to configure a Snowflake pipeline for Azure. For more information, see topic Configure a Snowflake pipeline for Azure in the Console.
    3. Select GCP to configure a Snowflake pipeline for Google Cloud Platform. For more information, see topic Configure a Snowflake pipeline for GCP in the Console.
  5. In the Data delivery options section, from the Attribute format dropdown, select the format of the attributes stored.
  6. Select Transmit OV values only if you want to sync only operational values to the Snowflake.
  7. Select Data filtering to enable filtering for adapter.
  8. Select Serialize initial sources in Crosswalks to enable sending initial source in crosswalk.
