Learn about the search before create functionality in the Reltio Integration for Salesforce (with RIH).

The Reltio Integration for Salesforce (with RIH) enables you to sync contact and account data between Reltio and Salesforce using prebuilt recipes.

Before you decide to create a record in Salesforce, wouldn't it be beneficial if we could check if the record already exists in Reltio or Salesforce? The Search before create (SBC) feature does exactly that. It first checks for records in both Reltio and Salesforce, and imports the ones that are not available, thus avoiding duplication.

The Search before create is implemented using a set of recipes, which search for account and contact records before importing them from Reltio to Salesforce. For more information, see topic Recipes for Search before create.
