Validate event transfer in Snowflake with the Reltio API (AWS)

Learn how to validate an event transfer in Snowflake using a Reltio API.

After you verify that events are being sent to your S3 storage, validate with the reindex API using any entity ID of your choosing as long as its in the Reltio tenant being activated with the Reltio Data Pipeline for Snowflake service . This API streams the entity from the Reltio platform to your storage bucket, demonstrating that the Reltio Data Pipeline for Snowflake is enabled to deliver events to the S3 bucket you just created. Run the reindex API to confirm if the Snowflake tables provided by Reltio reflect the changes made.
Note: It could take a minute or two for you to see your changes.
To validate the event transfer:
  1. Send the POST http://{{apiHost}}/reltio/reindex?tenantId={{tenant}} request with the entity ID in the request body. For example: {step"entities/entityId"}
  2. Search for the bucket you've created and check the timestamp in the Last modified column. This allows you to validate if an event was sent to your S3 bucket after the API call was made.
After validation:
  1. In the left navigation pane in your Snowflake environment, click dataTable or entities.

  2. In the pane that appears, click Preview Data to view the columns.
