Migrating from single-factor to SSO authentication in Reltio

Learn about migrating from single-factor to SSO authentication.

Migrating from single-factor authentication login methods to Single Sign-On (SSO) in Reltio not only enhances security and streamlines access across your organization but also empowers users with more control and independence. Let's review key considerations and how-tos on your journey to SSO authentication.

Tenants and users

Understanding tenants and users from the perspective of SSO authentication.
Tenants
Administrators can enable SSO for each tenant separately or apply a unified SSO configuration across all tenants. This configuration ensures that your users use your corporate IDP login to access a specific Reltio tenant. After users log in, regardless of how they log in, they can switch between any Reltio tenants based on their permissions.
Users
  • SSO Users: These users are automatically provisioned through the customer Identity Provider (IDP) and can log in via SSO to their assigned tenants.
  • Non-SSO Users: These are created manually within Reltio. They log in through the traditional login page for a non-SSO tenant.
