Edit a data loading job

Learn how to edit a job that is in draft state and start a data load.

Before you can edit a job in Job Definitions you need to have at least one job created that is in draft status. For more information, see topic Load data with Data Loader.

If you need to alter any parameter, preference or data source of a job that is in draft status, you can edit it as required and start it again.

To edit a job:

In the Job Definitions page select Drafts to see the drafts you created.
Select the icon on the right of the date for the job you want to edit.
Select Edit.

The job page opens and you can edit the job as you require. For more information, see topic Load data with Data Loader.
