Find and select an address with Address autocomplete

Learn how to use Address autocomplete to find, select, and populate accurate address values while creating or updating a profile.

Address autocomplete lets you search for and select a validated address as you type. When you select a suggestion, the system populates the mapped address fields in the profile.

Prerequisites
  • License for Address autocomplete enabled on your tenant.
  • Address autocomplete configured for the entity type of the profile you're creating or editing (for example, Location). See Configure address autocomplete for an entity type. If it isn't, contact your Reltio Customer Support team.
  • Permission to create or edit profiles of the configured entity type.
To find and apply an address suggestion:
  1. In Hub, open an existing profile using Search or select Create a new profile from the left navigation to create a new profile.
  2. In the relevant Address field, begin typing the address. A list of address suggestions appear below the field.
Note: The Address Input field is defined in the inputMapping section of your L3 configuration for the entity type.
Note: To restrict suggestions to a specific country, select a value in the Country field before you start typing. This field is mapped to the Countries parameter in the inputMapping section of your L3 configuration. If no country is selected, suggestions are restricted only by the countries configured in the Address autocomplete tenant configuration.
  3. From the list of addresses displayed, select the address you want to use. The address fields are populated with the selected address.
  4. Review the populated address attributes, such as Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, State or Province, and Postal Code.
  5. Click Save.
