Review and resolve matches in bulk

Learn how to review, resolve, and merge potential matches in bulk from the Hub.

Before you begin, make sure you have enabled the Bulk match feature in your tenant. For more information, see topic Bulk match overview.
From the Hub, for a selected entity type, select the profiles or records you want to merge or mark as not a match.
To review and resolve matches in bulk:
  1. In the Hub, from the left navigation pane, select Bulk match.
The Bulk match page opens, displaying entity types listed as tabs.
  2. In the Bulk match page, select the entity for which you want to view and merge records.
For example, let's select the Individual type:
  3. In the Search bar, specify the criteria to filter the records.

For example, to filter records with the name Smith, enter the words "Smith" in the Search bar.

To provide multiple filters, select the Filter icon in the Search bar to open the following dialog box:

    1. Select the entity type whose records you want to filter. This defaults to the entity type you selected earlier.
    2. From the Select attribute drop down, select the attribute for filtering records. For example, let's select Name.
    3. Select the operator, which changes based on the attribute you select. Let's select Equals here.
    4. In the field displayed, enter the attribute value based on which you want to filter records. Let's select John Smith here, since we want to filter records that belong to the name Smith.
    5. Select Apply to view the filtered records.
  4. From the results, review the records and select those that you think are a match.
  5. Select Merge All to merge the records.

The selected records are merged and displayed as a single profile.

Alternatively, select Not a Match to indicate these records are not a match to each other.
