Review a velocity pack in Reltio Ontology Builder

Use Reltio Ontology Builder to review a Reltio velocity pack before implementation. You can explore entity types, relationship types, interaction types, reference data, attributes, derived attributes, match rules, survivorship, cleansers, and validation rules without uploading a source schema.
Review a velocity pack
Select a velocity pack to inspect the model structure and review how Reltio represents domain-specific entities, relationships, interactions, and supporting data.
- Open Reltio Ontology Builder.
- If the welcome window is displayed, select Start Exploring.
- In the top-left corner, open the model selector.
- Select one of the available velocity packs:
- B2B
- B2C
- FinServ
- Healthcare
- Insurance
- LifeSciences
- Select List to review the velocity pack in a tabular view.
- In List view, review the following sections:
- ENTITY TYPE
- RELATIONSHIP TYPE
- INTERACTION TYPE
- REFERENCE DATA
- SOURCES
- Select one of the following model elements to open the detail panel:
- Entity type
- Relationship type
- Interaction type
- Reference data item
- In the detail panel, select Attributes to review attributes for the selected model element.
- Select Derived attributes to review derived attributes for the selected model element, if available.
- Select the model logic view in the detail panel to review the following information for the selected model element:
- Match
- Survivorship
- Cleansers
- Validation
- Select Diagram to view the velocity pack as a graph.
- Use the graph view to review how the following model components connect:
- Entity types
- Interaction types
- Reference data
- Relationships
- Use the following controls to adjust the graph view, if needed:
- Filter
- LAYOUT
- EDGES
- Select a node in the graph to inspect its details in the detail panel.
Result
Reltio Ontology Builder displays the selected velocity pack in list and diagram views. You can review the model structure, inspect model elements, and understand how Reltio represents entities, relationships, interactions, reference data, attributes, and model logic for the selected industry or domain.
After you review the velocity pack, identify the model elements that match your implementation goals. Use the selected velocity pack as a starting point for model design discussions with your architecture, governance, or implementation team.
