Export a hierarchy in the Profile view

Learn how to export a hierarchy so that you can download its structure as a CSV or JSON file for use outside Reltio.

You can extract the hierarchy structure from the Profile view. Download it as a CSV or JSON file for use outside Reltio.

Prerequisites

Before you continue, make sure the following prerequisites are met:

You must enable hierarchy in the tenant configuration.
You must enable hierarchy in the UI configuration.
Add a hierarchy in the Hierarchy tab.

To export a hierarchy structure:

In the Hub, search and select a profile that you want to view.
In the Profile view, select the Hierarchy tab.
From the Hierarchy type dropdown, select the hierarchy instance you want to export.
Select the Export icon.
Select Export as CSV file or Export as JSON file. A confirmation message is displayed.
In the confirmation message, select VIEW PROGRESS to view the progress of the export job in the Export application in Console.

Result

The job appears under the Pending tab of the Export application in Console with a status of Processing.

When the export job finishes, you will receive an email notification confirming that the export completed successfully. The email includes a link to download the exported file directly. You can also view the completed job in the Export application
