AI assisted field mapping in Data loader
Learn how to automatically suggest mappings between source source columns and attributes during the mapping stage.
Auto-mapping is available at any point during the mapping stage in Data Loader. It helps speed up column mapping by analyzing source column names and sample data, then suggesting mappings to Reltio attributes. You can review the suggested mappings and update them before you continue.
Prerequisite
To auto-map source columns to attributes you must have previously loaded a file. For more information, see topic Load entities into a tenant. You must also set theaiEnabled parameter to True in the physical configuration, under agents config.- On the Data Loader during the Map section, select Auto-map.
A pop-up message appears. In the Auto-map columns dialog window select Start Auto-Mapping.
Note: Auto-mapping analyzes the source columns and sample data, then applies suggested mappings in the grid. - Review the suggested mappings in the grid.
Auto-mapped columns display an icon above the column name, the mapped attribute, and the confidence level of the match.
If you select a column, the side panel opens and it shows additional information. If a column was auto-mapped it will show a message stating that as well as the confidence level of the match.
- Select Continue to save the current mapping.
Select the appropriate name for the map and select Save and Continue.
Result
Auto-mapping does not overwrite manual mappings. If a column is already mapped, the existing mapping remains unchanged. If the auto-mapping suggestions match the existing mappings, no changes are applied.
Depending on the current mapping state, Data Loader can indicate that all source columns are already mapped, that no matching Reltio attributes were found, or that the auto-mapping suggestions match the existing mappings.
