Step 1: Selecting Profiles for Bulk Update
You can select the profiles for which you want to update attribute values in bulk.
This task is about finding and selecting the profiles for bulk update.
Note: The SearchByOV option is applied only to a filter that chooses the entities that will be updated. If you choose, for example, the 'find and replace' action or set a filter for nested or reference attributes, the SearchByOv option won't take effect.
To select the profiles for bulk update:
- On the Search page, select the Entity Type.
- Select the Attributes. The profiles are listed based on the entity and
attribute type selected.
- Click the More Options icon.
- Select Bulk Update. The Select
profiles page is displayed. All the profiles are selected by
default.
- Click Clear Selection.
The profile selection is cleared.
- Select the profiles that you want to update.

In the Search bar, enter the search criteria.
The search results dispaly the profiles.
Select the profiles.
- Click Show/Hide columns (
). The Show/hide columns page is displayed.
- Select the columns to be viewed in the Select profile page.
- Click Continue.
The Select Operations page is displayed.
