In the Graph perspective, you can view profile relationships in a graphical interface to view details of connected entities, and also select the type of graph to view this information. For example, a company or organization hierarchy or a family hierarchy. For more information, see topics Get started with the Graph perspective and Select a graph type .
You can define these graph types in the Data Modeler.
To create a new graph type:
In the Console, select Data Modeler.
In the Data Modeler, select Graph types from the left navigation pane. You will see a list of existing graph types.
Select Create New. You will see the Create new graph type page.
In the Name field, enter the unique name of the graph type.
In the Display name field, enter the name you want this graph type to be displayed as in the Graph perspective in the Hub.
In the Description field, enter any description for the graph type.
In the Relationship types field, click the arrow button. You will see a list of relationships.
From the list, select the relationships that you want to include in the graph.
After making your selections, click anywhere outside the page to go back to the Create new graph type page. You will see the selected relationships displayed in the Relationship types field.
From the Graph structure dropdown, select the type of structure of the graph. For example, you can select a Hierarchy structure to show relations in a company's hierarchy.
Select Save. The graph type details are saved, and you can see it listed along with the other graph types.
