Delete DVFs in the Data Modeler

Learn how to delete data validation functions for entity and relationship types in Data Modeler.

If you no longer need a previously defined Data Validation Function (DVF), delete it.

Use the Validation functions page in the Data Modeler to delete DVFs for an entity or relationship type.

To delete a DVF:

From the Reltio App Selector, select Console > Data Modeler.
In the Data Modeler navigation panel, select the object type and the desired entity or relationship type for which you want to delete a DVF:
- Entity types: For example, Contact or Organization.
- Relationship types: For example, Organization - Individual or Organization - Organization
On the top menu bar, select Validation functions.
On the Validation functions page, hover your mouse pointer over the DVF you want to delete and in the displayed action bar, select Delete.
In the displayed confirmation message, select Yes to delete the validation function.
