Create Salesforce service account user

Learn how to create a Salesforce service account user.

The RIH recipes need a dedicated Service Account User to use the Salesforce Services. This user needs to have the RIH Service Account profile previously created. For more information, see topic Create the Salesforce service account profile. The credentials of the user created here are used in the RIH connection and/or environment properties.

To create a Salesforce service account user:

Log into your Salesforce account.
In the Setup page, select Administration > Users > Users.
Select New User.
Enter the required details.
In the Profile field, select RIH Service Account.
Select Save. These credentials are used in the RIH connection and environment properties.
