Learn about what you need to do before you install Reltio Integration for Salesforce (with RIH).

Reltio Integration for Salesforce (with RIH) uses prebuilt recipes to help sync data between Reltio and Salesforce. For more information, see topic Prebuilt integration for Salesforce with RIH.

The sub topics in this section explain how to prepare the underlying systems before you install RIH recipe:
Prerequisites - Amazon Web Services
This prebuilt integration uses the SNS or SQS service of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) to determine the changes or updates done by Reltio platform and then trigger the synchronization to Salesforce. You need these AWS prerequisites:
Prerequisites - Reltio Platform
You need these Reltio Connected Data Platform prerequisites:
  • The B2B velocity pack deployed in the Reltio tenant. For more information, see topic What you get with Reltio for B2B.

  • A Reltio service account user. The RIH recipes need a dedicated Service Account User or API ID/secret to call the Reltio Platform API. The service account user must be assigned the ROLE_API for the corresponding tenant. For more information, see topic ROLE_API Access permissions.

  • Reltio Tenant Management configured to stream specific events to the previously created AWS SNS topic or SQS queue. For more information, see topic Configure Reltio Tenant Management.

Prerequisites - Salesforce
In Reltio Integration for Salesforce, ensure the following are available:
  • A Salesforce Organization with the default data model. The default account and contact object used by the RIH recipes.

  • A Salesforce Service Account Profile. This service account must have a specific set of permissions to be able to run related Salesforce services.

  • Salesforce Object Field permission. All objects used here must have read/write permission for all the used fields.

  • Salesforce Service Account User. RIH recipes need a dedicated service account user to use the Salesforce services. This user must be associated with the RIH Service Account profile previously created.

For more information, see topic Configure Salesforce model and user accounts.
