Configure Salesforce model and user accounts
Learn how to configure data model and accounts in Salesforce for integration with the Reltio platform.
Go through the list of requirements and actions to be done in AWS and Reltio platform before installing RIH recipes. For more information, see topic Prerequisites for installing Reltio Integration for Salesforce (with RIH).
- Ensure a Salesforce organization with default data model is available. The default account and contact object is used by the RIH recipes with the addition of the
ext_idfield that is used to store the Reltio URI. See the below procedure to enable the new field. For more information, see topic Enable the extension ID field. -
Create Salesforce service account profile. RIH recipes need a dedicated service account user with a specific set of permissions to be able to run related Salesforce services. For more information, see topic Create the Salesforce service account profile.
