The Network layout displays relationship details between entities, where each entity is a node and the relationship between them are displayed with lines. For the selected entity, you can view the graph perspective in various layouts.
To select a graph layout:
- Open the Graph perspective.
- From the Graph layout dropdown, select one of the following:
- Simple network: Displays all the connections/relationships between the main entity and other related entities, where each entity is a node.
- Vertical hierarchy: Displays the relationship between the main entity and other entities, where the nodes are displayed vertically.
- Horizontal hierarchy: Displays the relationship between the main entity and other entities, where the nodes are displayed horizontally.
- Directed network:A simple network, where the connector lines show the direction of the relationship; that is, they identify the start object and end objects. This is indicated by an arrow on the edge of the line. For more information, see topic Creating New Relationship Types.
- Tree:A graph that displays the relationship between entities as a hierarchy. Select a graph type to view this option in the Graph layout field.
