Search and filter graph node details

Learn how to search for profiles and filter profiles in the Graph perspective.

You can choose to view the new view of the Relationship Perspective page by using the Manage View Preferences page. For more information, see Change from Classic to New UI.

An entity may have hundreds, if not thousands, of relationships. In such circumstances, you may have a little difficulty in analyzing and understanding the graph because of the sheer number of nodes and the connections between them.

You may want to view only a particular set of data in the graph, for example, only employees associated with your organization. You can filter the details in your Graph perspective based on the entity type or relationship type. You can also search for a profile in the list of relationships displayed.

To filter or search details for a graph node:

  1. In the Hub, select your profile and then select Profile > Graph. The Graph Perspective is displayed.
  2. In the Node details toolbar on the right, click Relationship. The Relationships pane is displayed.

      • Relationship Type: Select the type of relationship whose profiles you want to view in the graph.

        .

In the Relationships pane, the color of the filter icon changes to blue, and the list of profiles here and the graph both update to reflect the applied filters.

The filter is removed and the color of the Filter icon changes back to the original color and the list of profiles here and the graph both update to display all relationships for the entity.
