Get started with the Graph perspective

Learn how to monitor entity relationships with the Graph perspective.

Let’s take a look at how you can use the Graph perspective (new view) to help you view and explore the relationships between entities using this powerful data visualization tool. Use these insights to ensure your data is accurate and complete. For example, you can add any missing relationships or delete relationships that are no longer related to the entity.

To access the Graph perspective:

  1. In the Reltio Hub, select Search and from the Advanced Search select a profile.
  2. In the Profile page, select Graph from the horizontal menu.

The center node represents the selected or the main entity and the other nodes are the relationships of the entity. In other words, the center node is the main entity and the other nodes represent the other organizations, employees, or other entities that are related to the main entity.

You use these key sections in the Graph perspective to determine the data to display the graph:

Graph type menu
The drop-down menu on the right of the graph enables you to change the graph type. For more information, see topic Select a graph type .
Graph layout menu
The drop-down menu that enables you to change the appearance of the graph: Simple network (default), Vertical hierarchy, Horizontal hierarchy, and Directed network. For more information, see topic Select a graph layout.

Node details toolbar
The panel on the right of the page that enables you to search and filter the data displayed for the selected node in the graph: Relationships and Entity Details. Click the tab to open the panel. Based on your permissions, you can also add, edit, delete relationship details, and view entity details.
Note: You can also resize this panel if you want to view more information at a glance in the main page. Rest your cursor on the boundary of the panel till you see the double-headed arrow and drag it to the desired width. The changes you make to the width will be saved, and you can see the same when you log in the next time.

The topics in this section show you the basics of working with the Graph perspective (new view). When you’re ready to put these skills into practice, see Visualize profile relationships in the Graph perspective.
