View tasks by task type

Learn how to view workflow tasks based on the task type value.

Arrange the data displayed in the workflow area according to your preference. For example, filter tasks by type or by workflow step.
To view workflow tasks by type or step:
  1. In the left navigation pane, under Filters expand the Task type drop-down menu.
  2. Select one or more task types filters, for example:
    • All tasks (default)

    • Account onboarding

    • Data Change Request Review

    • Data Verification With Loop

    • Potential Match Review

    • Process with custom JARs

    • RDM Data Change Request Review

    • Recommend for Delete

    • Match Review

    • Any custom tasks in your tenant

Selected filters are highlighted in gray with a green check mark.

  3. View the results in either the List or Table view (for details, see topic Switch between Table and List views):
    • In List view, the selected task type is displayed in the main output list of tasks.
    • In Table view, the selected task type is displayed as a tab at the top of the workflow task area.

  4. Filter workflow tasks either by task type or by step:
    • Task type: At the top of the workflow task area, select the desired task type.
    • Step: From the Step drop-down menu, select the task type to display in the workflow task area. You can associate each step with only one task type.

Suppose you select a step that is associated with a specific task type. The task type is automatically selected. For example, if you select the DCR Review step in the Step drop-down menu, the Data Change Request Review task type is selected in the Task Type drop-down menu.

Conversely, if you select a step that doesn't belong to a specific task type, the task type is cleared. For example, if you've selected the Account onboarding and Data Change Request Review task types and then select the DCR Review step, the Account onboarding task type is cleared since the DCR Review step isn't associated with this task type. If you now remove the Data Change Request Review task type and retain only the Account onboarding task type, the DCR Review step is cleared.
