Fill rate

Learn about the data in the Fill rate chart in the DQ dashboard.

You monitor the quality of data in your Reltio tenant in the Real-Time Data Quality (DQ) Dashboard. After selecting an entity and attributes in the DQ dashboard, you can analyze the tenant-level aggregate information about the completeness of your data in this Fill rate DQ chart. Note: You can also get a glimpse of the fill rate of the attribute in the colored horizontal bar below the name of the attribute.

Data definition

This chart provides the following metrics.


Data label	Data definition
Fill rate	A horizontal bar chart that identifies the relative number and percentage (rounded up) of profiles in the entity that contain the values selected in the Attribute panel: Exists: Green block indicating the number of profiles in which the attribute exists. Missing: Orange block indicating the number of profiles in which the attribute doesn’t exist. Tip: Hover your mouse pointer over the green or orange block in the bar chart to display a tooltip with actual (rather than rounded) counts.

Chart drill downs

When you drill down to the metrics in this chart, you can admire existing data or add missing data for this attribute in the Advanced search:

Exists (green block): A list of the profiles containing the specified attribute.
Missing (orange block): A list of profiles missing the specified attribute.

Data analysis scenarios

So, armed with these amazing metrics, what can you deduce about your data completeness?

No data

You can view at a glance when there are no profiles with values in the selected attribute type. If the fill rate bar is completely orange, Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep. Drill down to the list of profiles missing attributes and start herding sheep.

All good data

You can view at a glance when all of your profiles contain values in the selected attribute type. If the fill rate bar is completely green, you’re good to go! Feel free to drill down to the list of profiles where the attributes exist and gloat over your efficiency.

Mixed data

You can view at a glance when all of your profiles contain values in the selected attribute type. If the fill rate bar contains green and orange blocks, you may need to clean your room before going out to play. Drill down to the list of profiles missing attributes and start tidying up.
