Segmentation navigation

Learn how to get around the Segmentation page in the Hub.

To view the main Segmentation page, access the Segmentation option from the Hub left navigation drawer.

In the All segments page, view a list of segments created for the tenant. For each segment, you can view the following:

  • Name of the segment

  • Status - which can be one of the following:

    • Live - denotes a segment with real-time sync rules.

    • Computing - denotes a segment with a batch process that is in progress

    • Queued- denotes a segment with a batch process, where the evaluation job is yet to start

    • Disabled - denotes a segment that is disabled

  • Description - the description of the segment

  • Shared with - Denotes whether everyone can view the segment, or is it available only for the user who created it.

  • Refresh type - Can be one of the following:

    • Real-time - Based on the rules configured, the segment is refreshed with profile data in real-time. In other words, any change in profile data is instantly reflected in the segment.

    • Batch - Applicable only when you select Interaction data when configuring rules for the segment. You can specify a periodic batch process to refresh profile data for the segment.

  • Last refreshed on - the date when the segment was last refreshed.

  • Audience count - The number of profiles that match the rules set in the segment

  • Destinations - the destinations configured for the segment.

  • Show/hide columns - Enables you to select attributes you want displayed in the table here.

Segment facet in the Profile view

You can also view segments for a specific entity in the Profile view. In the Search page, select the entity for which you want to view Segments and look at the Segments facet.
