Execute recipe to sync Reltio metadata to Alation

Learn how to set up the connections for the Reltio Integration Hub (RIH) recipes for the Reltio Integration with Alation.

You need to have the Alation connector and a Reltio Integration Hub (RIH) license to configure and use the OOTB Alation Integration in our tenant. Please reach out to your Reltio Account Executive or Renewal Representative for licensing needs.

You need to Connect to your Alation account to sync Reltio metadata, before moving on to this configuration.

If you have RIH and Alation connector licenses in your Reltio contract, the Alation connector recipes and connections will be deployed to your tenant's RIH instance.
To execute the recipe:
  1. Open the Alation | Main recipe and select Edit.
  2. Scroll down and select Custom Properties under the Configuration Parameters section.
  3. Enter the following details for your Reltio tenant:
    • Tenant ID
    • Tenant Environment
  4. Select Save to apply the changes.
  5. Start all recipes in the Recipe folder, except the Generate refresh token recipe.
The Generate refresh token recipe is only used to fetch the Alation Refresh Token and does not sync metadata.
  6. Reopen the Alation | Main recipe and select the Trigger step (the first step). A webhook address will appear.
  7. Copy the webhook address and open it in any web browser.
This configuration triggers the recipe, prompting the main recipe to execute supporting recipes and synchronize metadata from Reltio to Alation.
