Edit a simple, nested, or reference attribute

Learn how to edit a simple, nested, or reference attribute.

You need to have the ROLE_API role to edit an attribute. For more information, see topic ROLE_API Access permissions.

For information on the editable details for Simple, Nested, or Reference attribute types, see topic Edit an attribute.

To edit a Simple, Nested, or Reference attribute:

On the Reltio app selector, navigate to and select Console > Data Modeler > Entity type.
Select the Entity type that contains the attribute you want to edit.
In the Attributes page, hover your mouse pointer over the attribute you want to edit and select the Edit icon.
In the Edit entityType attribute section, edit the details for the selected entity type:
- Simple: Create a simple attribute
- Nested: Create a nested attribute
- Reference: Create a reference attribute
Select Save.

Your attribute is edited with the updates you've entered.
