Charts for profile pages in the UI Modeler
Learn more about the charts available for configuration in your profile page.
Overview
Now that you know how to configure your profile pages, know more about the charts that are available for you to configure in your profile page. For more information, see topic Configure your profile perspective for an entity type.
In the right pane in the UI Modeler, you can see the various charts under the Libraries tab. You can select a chart, drag and drop it into the middle pane. Select the newly added chart, and configure the properties in the right pane. The following charts are available for selection:
Potential Matches
The Potential Matches is a pre-defined chart, in the sense that it is already configured to display the potential matches for the entity. All that is left for you to do is name the chart.
Hierarchy
Use the Hierarchy chart to configure and view the hierarchy data in your organization.
- Caption of the chart
- Type of graph
- Select the Reverseoption to view the hierarchy in the reverse direction.
While working with hierarchies, sometimes the start and end objects defined in a standard data model need to be visualized in the reversed direction. Consider a scenario where the UI Profile screen contains a Hierarchy facet which shows the hierarchy of departments and hospitals across all patient product platforms such as MDM and CRM. Standard data model has a start object as a Department (child) and an end object as the Hospital (parent). But the department to hospital hierarchy requires data in the reverse order.
- Select the option to view secondary labels for the hierarchy nodes
- Sort order - Ascending or Descending
- Sort the hierarchy by Relationship type label or Entity label.
Hierarchy paths
Use the Hierarchy paths to view the hierarchy path of your organization.
Specify the Caption and Graph type URI.
Attributes
Use the Attributes chart to view attribute details in your profile view.
Specify the Caption. In the Max shown field, you can specify the maximum number of entities/profiles that can be displayed in the Attributes view facet. You can also specify attributes you want to display and the ones you want to hide.
Single attribute
Use the Single attribute chart to display details about a specific attribute.
Specify the Caption, the Attribute whose details you want to display, the maximum number of entities/profiles that can be displayed in the facet, and whether you want to display inactive values. The Empty text field can be used to specify a text message that is displayed in the Single Attribute View facet if this view does not have any data to display.
Attribute table
Use the Attribute table chart to view attributes table for nested and reference attributes.
Select the attribute whose details you want to display in the table. Specify the caption and the maximum number of profiles you want displayed in the table.
Image attribute
Use the Image attribute to display images.
Specify the caption. Select the attribute and the maximum number of profiles you want displayed in the chart. Enter the text that should be displayed if there is no information to show.
Relations
Use the Relations chart to view the relationship of an entity with the other entities.
Specify the Caption, entities that must be displayed in the facet, the type of Ingoing and Outgoing relationships you want in the facet, and sort order - ascending or descending. If you want to enable users to vote for an entity in this facet, select the Display Multi-Line Results checkbox. You will be able to agree or disagree if an entity is valid, and give reasons if it is not. For more information, see topics Profile Attribute Facets and Rate details in the Relationship facet.
