Learn about where custom views are supported in the unified UI configuration file, including dashboard views, profile views, and profile side panels.

In the UI configuration file, configure custom views in the following areas:

• Dashboard custom views: Configure dashboard custom views in dashboard views to display custom content in the dashboard UI.

• Profile custom views: Profile custom views are configured in the profile section as Custom components in views. Use profile custom views when you need to display custom content in the context of the current profile entity.

• Profile custom side panels: Profile custom side panels are configured in sidePanelViews in the profile section. Use them to display integration actions or additional contextual information in the profile view.

• Related custom configuration for global custom scripts: Global custom scripts are configured in the properties section. Use them for global custom script behavior, such as request or response interception.

• Related custom configuration for left navigation actions: Left navigation custom actions are configured in the layout section by using the CustomAction screen type.
