Creating a Connection
You can create connections with various recipes or applications through the connectors.
To create a sample connection, do the following steps:

From the Connected apps or Recipes page, click Create connection.
The New connection page appears.

Search for the app with which you want to create a connection.
On entering Amazon, all the Amazon connector options are displayed.

Select Amazon S3.
The Connect to Amazon S3 page appears. For more information, see Amazon S3 Connection.

In the Connection name field, enter a name for this connection. For example, My Amazon S3 account.
You can refer to the sample connection details.
- In the Location field, select the project or folder.
- In the Authorization type field, choose Access key or IAM role to specify the preferred method of authorization.
- In the Access key ID and Secret access key fields, provide the AWS user credentials.
- Optionally, specify the Restrict to bucket details to restrict the access to a particular S3 bucket only.
- In the Region field, enter the region as provided in your S3 account URL.
- Optionally, specify the number of Download threads to boost the download speed.

Click Connect to create the connection.
Your connection is created successfully and can be used across various recipes.
