Learn how to create an API client and generate the security code.

Ensure all prerequisites are taken care of and that you've started the recipes required for Search before create (SBC). For more information, see topic Enable Search Before Create.

During synchronization, an authorization token is required to call the RIH API endpoints from the Salesforce-Reltio managed package in order to guarantee a secure connection.

To create an API client and generate the security code:

In the Reltio Integration Hub, in your tenant, select API Platform.
Select Clients > Add new client.
In the Name field, enter SBC MP Client.
Select Create New Access Profile.
In the Create New Access Profile page, in the Name field, enter SBC MP Client Profile.
In the API Collections to Include field, select SFDC-SBC.
From the Authentication Mode dropdown, select Auth Token.
Select Next.
Select Create Access Profile to create the profile.
Copy the Auth Token for the SFDC MP configuration.
