Sources Perspective
Learn about the various sources and crosswalks for a profile.
In the Profiles page, the Sources perspective enables you to manage data sources. These data sources are used to determine the records responsible for determining the Operational Values (OV) for profile attributes.

In the Sources perspective, you can view and manage the source data and associated crosswalk information.
The Sources perspective displays a color coded sources grid that displays the following information:
- Attributes and Operational Value
- Winner Source System
- Rule Type
- Count
- Attribute values
The Show/Hide columns option enables you to select the columns that must be displayed in this perspective. Reltio saves these preferences and the next time you login, the columns are displayed as per your saved preferences.
You can also view these details for specific rulesets. A ruleset is a set of survivorship rules that is assigned to a specific role. You can only view those rulesets that are accessible to the roles assigned to you. There is a default ruleset but you can select any other ruleset from the dropdown to view the OV and rules corresponding to the selected ruleset. Attributes and Operational Value
This column displays the attribute's labels and operational values. The Operational Value is a dynamic value calculated in real-time, which is based on Survivorship Rules. Expanding the arrow adjacent to the OV displays the nested attributes for the value.
Winner Source System
Rule Type
This column displays the Survivorship rule used to determine the Operational Value of the attribute.
Count
This column displays the number of source values for the attribute.
Attribute Values
This column displays the source values for the attribute. These are color coded to indicate the source system to which it belongs. In case of nested attributes, expand the arrow next to the attribute value to view the sub-attributes. When you hover over an attribute value, the other attribute values from the same crosswalk are also highlighted. You can add attribute values by dragging a crosswalk and dropping it into the Attribute Values column or by clicking the +ATTRIBUTE link in the Sources perspective. Each attribute value is color-coded to indicate the crosswalk to which it belongs. In case of nested attributes, you see colored circles next to the nested attribute to indicate the crosswalks it belongs to. See an example below:
You can also easily find out if a nested attribute belongs to a deleted crosswalk. Instead of a colored circle, a deleted crosswalk is represented with a hollow circle. See the image below:
If a crosswalk provides only nested or reference attribute values then this crosswalk is added as dependent crosswalk

| Focus | Highlights the attribute values that belong to the same source system. In the example, when you click on the Focus icon for Western Sahara (EH), it keeps this attribute value highlighted all the time. Simultaneously, it also keeps all attribute values belonging to the same source system also highlighted. | |
| Edit | This option enables you to edit an attribute value.

| Delete | This option enables you to delete the attribute value for the entity. |
