External Match Workflow

The workflow is a sequence of steps for matching the entities from a file with the data in the tenant.

The workflow of how entities from a file are matched is as follows:

  1. Create a new job or duplicate an existing job definition.
  2. Select the input file from the required source system.
  3. Define new mappings or use an existing mapping to map file columns to the entity attributes (part of the entity model). The user can map multiple attributes to one column, if required.
  4. Add crosswalks, if required.
  5. Review and start Matching.
