Zero-copy interaction integration from Google BigQuery overview

Learn about Reltio zero copy interaction integration from Google BigQuery.

Zero-copy interaction integration from Google BigQuery displays interaction and transaction data stored in BigQuery in the interaction timeline for related profiles in Reltio Intelligent 360™. The interaction and transaction data remains in BigQuery and is not copied to Reltio.

The following roles work with zero-copy interaction integration from Google BigQuery:

Interaction and profile data

BigQuery remains the source for interaction and transaction data, while Reltio remains the source for mastered profile data. Reltio uses the interaction mapping to send filtered queries to a mapped BigQuery table or view and display matching rows in the related profile's interaction timeline in Reltio Intelligent 360™.

Entity and demographic data must already be loaded into Reltio for identity resolution. The mapped BigQuery data must include a column containing crosswalk IDs or each member type. These IDs associate interaction rows with their related Reltio entities.

Connection and interaction mapping

A BigQuery connection identifies the Google Cloud project, dataset, location, and service account used to access the BigQuery source. Reltio authenticates through service account impersonation and does not store a service account key.

An interaction mapping associates the BigQuery table or view with an existing Reltio interaction type. The mapping identifies the source columns returned as interaction attributes and the crosswalk column for each member type used to link rows to profiles.
