Select filters

Learn about the filters you can use to filter API data in Performance Monitoring dashboard charts.

Use the HTTP method and API endpoint filters in the API Usage and API Latency dashboards to filter and select data based on the type of HTTP request method and API. You can view data for:
  • All methods
  • GET method
  • POST method
  • DELETE method
  • PUT method
  • One or more selected APIs

To select the filters:

  1. In the API Usage or API Latency dashboard area, click a filter chip.

  2. In the Filter by pane, select one or all HTTP methods and one or all APIs and click APPLY.

You use the filters to view data for the selected methods and APIs. By default, all HTTP methods are selected, and you can view all methods in the Filter by pane. If you deselect one of the methods, a RESET FILTERS button is enabled. Click this button to go back to the default setting.

When you click the HTTP method filter, all available HTTP methods are displayed in the Filter by pane along with a counter that displays the number of times a request has been sent for each method.
Note: You must select at least one method.
When you click the API endpoint filter, a Search bar is displayed. All available APIs are displayed in the Filter by pane along with a counter that displays the number of times a request has been sent for each method.
Note: You must select at least one method.

When you click the API endpoint filter, a Search bar is displayed. All available APIs are displayed in the Filter by pane along with a counter that displays the number of times a request has been sent for each API. Use the Search bar to search for a specific API.

If you do not see any results for a specific date range, it means that no requests have been sent for the selected HTTP method and API. For example, if no requests have been sent during the previous week for the GET method and the /entities API, you will not see any results for the previous week.
