Restore default layout for Profile view

Learn how to restore the layout of your Profile view back to the default layout view.

The layout of your profile page is configured in the UI Modeler and you can configure a different layout for each entity type. As a user, you also have the option to personalize the layout in the Profile page itself. For example, you would want a certain facet to be displayed at the top of the page, instead of it being at the bottom or you can increase the size of a facet. These changes are applicable to your view only, and does not affect the Profile view of the other users. For more information see topic Personalize your Profile View.

You also have the option to restore the default layout of the Profile page, as configured in the UI Modeler. Make sure you think before restoring this, since any customization you made to the Profile page will no longer be available.

In the Search page, select an entity type. You will see a list of profiles in the page.
Select a profile from this list. You will see the Profile view, which you have personalized for your requirements. This is different from the default layout configured in the UI Modeler.
From the More options menu, select Reset layout.

You will see a message confirming the restore. Your profile view is now restored to the default layout.
Click Undo if you want to go back to your personalized settings.
