New features and enhancements
Check out new features and enhancements in the 2024.1 release.
Welcome to the 2024.1 release! We're excited to lead off in today's 29-Jan-24 Preview with our new AI (artificial intelligence)/ML (machine learning) offering to help your find the information you need faster than ever.
Read more about Reltio's Intelligent Assistant, new pre-trained ML model for Individual domain, new Product domain in the Life Sciences Velocity pack, as well as the full array of new features and functionality you'll be able to explore in the release GA on 19-Feb-24. We'll update these release notes then to provide links to topics with detailed information on the value of these new features and how to use them.
Find out fast with RIA - Reltio's Intelligent Assistant
Well, hello there! I'm RIA - the little widget up here on the upper right side of your tenant UI. If you have a question about the Reltio Connected Data Platform, I'll find the answer pronto.
Go ahead and give it a go. Click the widget to open a panel, then type in a question. I'll return a brief answer as well as links to relevant topics with more detailed information. Click the link to visit the topic or the X to close the panel when you're done.
As an AI/ML widget, I can comb through Reltio's digital content and share Documentation topics faster than you can say bippity-boppity-boo. I'm always learning, so I'll let you know if I don't understand the question or I can't find a relevant answer.

Match service
- Improve matching accuracy and data quality with automatic unmerge
-
-
Improve entity resolution accuracy using additional methods of comparison (Jaro-Winkler, Volume comparators, and enhanced Levenshtein comparators) that provide additional matching options for various use cases.
-
Unmerge with confidence! With the new reporting mode, get a count of consolidated profiles that no longer meet the matching criteria.
- Enhance flexibility in the unmerge process by specifying match rules and identifying the source systems to be considered during unmerging.
-
- Match criteria for single-member households
- Single-member households can now meet their match. With our automated householding feature, you could create single-member households for specific purposes like targeted product offerings. You weren't required to enter all of the attributes you'd need to group this single-member household with other households based on criteria in match rules.
Now, when you create a single-member household, we verify whether the lone household member has the necessary attributes specified in the matching criteria. If not, we don't create a standalone household, thus optimizing the accuracy and efficiency of household generation while avoiding the unnecessary proliferation of single-member households that do not contribute to the intended grouping logic.
- Automatic unmerge considers relevance-based match rules
- The automatic unmerge capability we introduced in the 2023.3 release, unmerged consolidated records when the underlying individual records no longer met the criteria in the automatic match rules. We've enhanced this to also consider the criteria in relevance-based match rules.

- Standardized Velocity Packs
- We created a new v3 of our velocity packs (VP) and made data models consistent:
-
Reltio for Customer Data (B2B) v3 velocity pack gets you started at even greater speed! With a new uniform data model and content updated for consistency across VPs, the Reltio for Customer Data (B2B) v3 velocity pack provides:
- Updated data models:
- New Household entity type
- Individual, Organization and Location entity types with new and updated attributes
- New relationship types
- Relationship types with new and updated attributes
- Updated data models:
-
Reltio for Consumer Data (B2C) v3 velocity pack announcement
Important: If you are just starting out with a Reltio velocity pack, use these v3 packs. If you're already using a previous velocity pack, stick with it. These v3 velocity pack aren't backwards compatible with the previous velocity packs.. -

New API experience (limited testing)
The new Reltio API experience starts and ends in the Doc Portal — no more API scavenger hunts through multiple locations! The whole API experience will be in a single, seamless, searchable, simple-to-navigate location in the Doc Portal, where you’ll also be able to try out the APIs.
Our limited testing program starts in the 2024.1 GA release, with registered participants evaluating a subset of our API endpoints to help confirm the direction, type, and depth of content to include. You're welcome to see draft content during the program; feedback is currently limited to test participants.
Meanwhile, the existing Reltio API content is still available in both the Developer Portal and Documentation Portal.

But wait, there's more!
- AWS Lambda functions Java upgrade
- We recommend upgrading your LCA functions from Java 8 to Java 17 for improved security, performance, and compatibility with new platform features and industry standards. For details on how to upgrade, see topic AWS Lambda function Java upgrade.
- Cleanse
When multiple cleansers were used in a chain, the first cleanser didn't resolve the lookup values before passing it to the subsequent cleanser. We now ensure each cleanser resolves it's lookups before passing it to the next cleanser in the chain.
We are deprecating US Census 2010 dataset fields from the Reltio Address Cleanser, replacing those fields with US Census Plus dataset fields. You must upgrade your tenant business configuration and any other integrated components that use deprecated fields from the Census dataset. For more information, see topic US Census replaced with Census Plus - Sep 2024.
- Global filters
- You can now add and delete search filters directly from the Global filter dialog. When deleting a saved search, you now have the option to retain the saved search as a global filter. For more information, see topic Understanding the Global Filters
- Reltio to Salesforce synchronization filter
- Previously, any data updates in Reltio that weren't from a service user triggered the synchronization to Salesforce. We added synchronization filtering to our Reltio Integration with Salesforce, so you can trigger the synchronization only for updates to mapped fields. Enable this filter to improve the integration's performance, ensuring more precise data management. For details on how to enable the filter, see topic Synchronization Process.
- Data integration
- We simplify data integration for MDM with our low-code/no-code development environment, 1,000+ prebuilt connectors, and real-time performance with latency under 300 milliseconds. We're simplifying the terminology for the various types of connectivity and data exchange capabilities we provide:
Reltio Integration Hub
Low-code/no-code productivity platform with prebuilt connectors and batch capabilities for accelerate data integration across multi-source environments.
Reltio Application Integrations
Prepackaged, end-to-end integration (with data orchestration logic) for for third-party applications. Check out Reltio Integration for Salesforce.
Reltio Data Enrichment Integrations
Prepackaged, end-to-end integration (with data orchestration logic) for third-party data sources. Check out Reltio Enrichment with 340B, BvD, D&B, DEA, and MedProd, and NPI.
Reltio Data Pipelines
Unidirectional data flow from Reltio into a cloud data warehouse. Check out Reltio Data Pipelines for GBQ and for Snowflake.
Reltio IPaaS Connectors
Technical connectors with no orchestration logic. Check out Reltio Connector for MuleSoft and for SnapLogic.
We reorganized the Integrate landing pageto help you navigate to the renamed connectors. We're working our way through renaming them across the DocPortal.
