Analyze match strategy

Learn about analyzing match rules and strategies to evaluate entity matches, improve potential match results, and optimize tenant performance.

The Analyze Match Rules feature analyzes the configured match rules and provides suggestions for improvement. You can analyze the match rules to get better potential matches for your entities.

Note: Reltio recommends that you use the Match analysis feature to analyze match rules. For more information, see topic Match Analysis at a glance.

Analyze Match Strategy for Entities

Use the ANALYZE MATCH STRATEGY button to analyze the match strategy for either a single entity or for multiple entities simultaneously.

Note: You must have the MDM.tasks.match - EXECUTE resource privilege to work with this functionality. If the ANALYZE MATCH STRATEGY button is disabled, one of the following applies:

Your role does not have the required permissions
No match rules are configured for the entities

To ANALYZE MATCH STRATEGY for all entity types:

In the Data Modeler page, select Entity types in the left navigation pane.
In the upper-right corner, select ANALYZE MATCH STRATEGY.
This opens a consolidated analysis tool with additional details for all entity types. For more information, see Match Analysis at a glance.

Alternatively, select ANALYZE MATCH STRATEGY from the MATCH tab for the selected entity type, as shown below:
