Support for Keyboard Navigation in the Mapping Page

You can perform operations by using keybaord keys in the mapping page.

When you click on a mapping cell, the editor shows up as shown below.

When the editor is in Open state, you can use the keys as follows:

Key Action
ESC Resets the changes to the initial state (before opening editor) and closes the editor.
ENTER Saves changes and closes the editor.

After the editor closes, the mapping cell will be in focus state as shown below:

When the cell is in focus state, you can use the keys as follows:

Key Action
ENTER Opens the editor.
Arrow Left, Arrow Right, Arrow Down, Arrow Up Puts focus on a next neighboring cell and unselects the current one.
Insert or letter i Opens the editor to add a new mapping for the current canonical value and source.
Delete or Backspace Deletes the selected mapping but does not delete canonical value. After delete, the current focus cell will be greyed out with the strikethrough style. The focus will be on the cell below the deleted cell.

Edge Cases

Empty Mapping Cell in Focus

When an empty mapping cell is in focus, you can use the keys as follows:

Key Action
Enter, Insert, or letter i Opens the editor to add a new mapping.

Last Row Cell in Focus

When the last row cell is in focus, you can use the keys as follows:

Key Action
Enter, Insert, or letter i Creates a new row to add a new mapping and opens the editor.
Note: To select any mapping grid, use CTRL + LeftMouseClick.
