Reltio Zero Copy Interaction Integration from Databricks in Reltio Intelligent 360™ lets you access interaction and transaction data stored in Databricks without replicating that data in Reltio. Reltio sends filtered queries to your Databricks Warehouse and returns the results in the context of the related profiles. This lets you use Databricks datasets to add richer context to profiles in Intelligent 360.

Interaction and profile sources
Databricks remains the source for interaction and transaction data, while Reltio remains the source for mastered profile data. Reltio reads mapped Databricks tables or views on demand and links the interaction data to profiles through crosswalk IDs. Entity and demographic data must already be loaded into Reltio so that Reltio can perform identity resolution and maintain mastered profiles maintained.
This integration enables you to:
- Leverage interaction and transaction datasets in Databricks without replication.
- Link Databricks datasets to Reltio profiles through crosswalk IDs.
How the integration is configured
- Create a Databricks connection in Reltio by using the database configuration API.
- Store OAuth credentials for the Databricks service principal in Reltio by using the Databricks OAuth credentials API.
- Test the Databricks connection in Reltio by using the connection test API.
- Map Databricks tables or views to Reltio interaction types in Reltio by using the zero-copy interaction mapping API.
After the integration is configured, Reltio can query the mapped Databricks source and return the matching interaction data for the related profile. This makes the external interaction data available in the Intelligent 360 experience without moving it into Reltio storage.
