Use Reltio Enrichment with D&B Data Blocks

Use recertification mode on D&B Data Blocks

How to trigger and run recertification workflows and interpret results.

Make sure that:

  • Recertification recipes are deployed and enabled in your tenant.
  • Excluded source systems are defined in the lookup to prevent non-D&B crosswalk deletions.
Recertification mode removes outdated D&B crosswalks and triggers enrichment using the latest data. This can be done in real time (on unmerge events) or in scheduled batch runs. Recertification ensures that stale D&B values do not remain active in your tenant.
To trigger recertification in real time:
  1. Start the recipe D&B | TRG-SQS | Real Time SQS Enrichment - Create, Update and Unmerge Events.
  2. Start the recipe D&B | PROC | Real Time Enrichment – Recertification.
  3. Unmerge a profile in your tenant to trigger real-time recertification.

    The following actions occur automatically:

    • The unmerged entity is detected by the trigger recipe.
    • Existing D&B crosswalks and enrichment attributes are removed.
    • The profile is re-exported based on the recertification filter.
    • New enrichment data is applied using the latest D&B results.
To run recertification in batch:
  1. Start the recipe D&B | TRG | Recertification Batch Enrichment.
  2. Start the recipe D&B | PROC | Recertification Batch D&B Crosswalk Extraction.
  3. Schedule the batch job to run on a regular cadence using your configured cron expression.
  4. Monitor the batch process to ensure recertification completes successfully.

    When the batch job runs, the following actions occur:

    • Profiles matching the Reltio Export Filter Conditions for Recertification are selected.
    • Outdated D&B crosswalks and attributes are removed.
    • Records are re-exported from the tenant.
    • Updated enrichment data is applied based on current D&B inputs.

After you run recertification:

  • The outdated D&B crosswalks and values are removed from Reltio.
  • The re-enrichment logic applies the latest data from D&B.
  • You can review job status in D&B Job Execution Statistics and D&B Logs lookup tables.
  • If any profile fails re-enrichment, an error is logged in FileStorage.
