When an error is detected, an error message appears at the top of the page.

When an error is detected, an error pop up banner appears at the top of the page or dialog form to summarize the current error and, if needed, point to where the error is located. Only the most recent error is shown at a time. The error remains open until you press Close. If multiple errors occur, the next error is shown after you close the pop up showing the current error.
