Multi-Factor Authentication Now Available
We are excited to announce that Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now available for all customers.
As of September 2024, we are excited to announce that Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now available for all customers. Administrators can choose between authenticator-based MFA and email-based MFA. After two months of optional enrollment, Reltio will enforce email-based MFA across all non-SSO users from all customers and partners. This initiative enhances security and protects user accounts from unauthorized access. Check out our previous announcement for context and more information.
Preferred Choice: Single Sign-On (SSO)
We strongly encourage integrating with your Identity Providers (IDPs) via SAML or OpenID Connect (OIDC) for simplified and secure authentication. This is the recommended authentication method for all customers, and we highlighted the importance of adopting it in a previous email and our blog. Please check the following documentation links to adopt SSO for your users and tenants:
For Non-SSO Users
Reltio will enforce MFA on all non-SSO users, including admin, contractor, and testing accounts. If, by November 4th, 2024, you don't implement SSO or if you implement it partially, Reltio will enforce Multi-Factor Authentication for all users not under SSO.
Key Dates and Actions
- September 16th, 2024: Enable MFA and enroll users in email-based MFA or via your preferred authenticator apps.
- November 4th, 2024: Enforce MFA for all users. Users who have not yet configured MFA will be automatically enrolled in email-based MFA.Important: To avoid disrupting automated processes, service accounts must be migrated to client credentials before Nov 4. Reltio will assist in identifying service accounts and provide guidance on migration.
