Create model patients in Reltio for Life Sciences

Accurate patient data drives better patient outcomes. Unifying patient data from various sources provides a more complete and holistic view of patients' health histories, treatments, and outcomes. This comprehensive understanding allows for more informed decision-making in research and drug development. Reltio provides a 360-degree view of each patient in our unified and centralized repository by consolidating patient data from various sources, such as Electronic health records (EHRs), claims data, and clinical trial data.

Pump up your data quality volume with DVFs

We've enhanced Data Validation Functions (DVFs) to detect and prevent poor-quality entity and relationship data from being loaded into Reltio and to provide a more tailored and precise data quality validation process. Look at you, all empowered to make informed business decisions based on clean, reliable data:

RDM attributes: Don't toss red RDM attributes into a load of Reltio whites! Create a DVF with our new RDM lookup condition to detect and warn you about any invalid RDM values before you put them in the wash.
System attributes: Need to ensure an end date is greater than a start date for a particular entity or apply a DVF to specific entity roles like Pharmacy but not Hospital? Create a DVF to tag potential errors for system attributes like start and end date, tags, and roles.
Source system name: Keeping your eye on data from a particular source? Create a DVF that runs only when an entity has a crosswalk from that source system. For example, the Duns number shouldn't be missing when an entity has a DnB crosswalk.
Relationship attributes: No need for a counselor to evaluate the state of your relationship. Create a DVF to validate relationships you're bringing into Reltio.
Revalidate job: Revalidate relationships after creating or updating a relationship DVF to validate existing data from the Console Tenant Management application.

Secure source access with the Slice filter

The new Slice filter in the the metadata security configuration restricts entity access to specific sources based on a role. Restrict users from roaming your source corridors by creating roles with access to limited sources. Assign such roles only to users, who will see data only from the sources assigned to the role.

Part ways with outdated matches using automatic unmerge

It happens. Entities grow apart. No need for you to brood when merged records no longer meet match criteria after updates, dear Data Steward. Let the automatic unmerge feature take the sting out of parting. It monitors and detects simple or nested attributes that no longer meet your match criteria and automatically unmerges their underlying crosswalks:

Boost data steward productivity: Eliminate the need for extensive ongoing manual unmerge tasks and custom IT projects.

Our superhero focuses his laser vision on external sources to chase down poor quality data that could corrupt existing data and impact both insights and decision making. Serve yourself a custom workflow

Remember when you had to create a BPMN file for a new custom workflow and save it to your local computer — and do it again every time you updated it? Or, when you had to compile your own JAVA code, send the code files to Reltio Customer Engineering to review with you over several iterations before they could approve it and register a JAR file in your tenant? Those days will soon be over.

Drum roll, please! Introducing self-service features in the Workflow Modeler to manage custom workflows:

Reltio code development pipelines: Subscribe to the Reltio code development pipelines in Bitbucket and push your custom code there, where we'll automatically review the code and suggest changes/fixes. Hey, presto! Changes made, code approved, JAR file automatically compiled and uploaded, and you're automatically notified in the Workflow Modeler when ready for registration.
Workflow Modeler: A new Business process page displays published workflows and their associated BPMN files. View file properties, open them for editing, and save them right here. You don’t need to export them anymore.

Take RDM values back to their source

We introduced the new reverseTranscodeLookups parameter to the Get Entity and Get Relationship. This parameter performs reverse transcoding of RDM attributes, which is the process of converting standardized lookup codes to their source value.

Home improvements

Automated householding, introduced in 2023.2, has already been spruced up to create an even happier home:

Self-service enablement: Enable grouping feature in your tenant yourself. No need to raise a Support ticket.
Improved grouping configuration screens: Set up automated householding feature easily and find detailed match rule and relationship information.
New functions for numeric attribute mapping: We added six brand new default functions to the Grouping Types section of the Console Data Modeler. Go ahead and calculate, populate, and aggregate values of numeric attributes from household members. For example, calculate the total household income or debt, highest individual member income, and number of household members.
Reference attribute mapping: Map reference attributes from the member entity type to the grouping entity type.
Consolidated profile metrics: Reflect household entities as consolidated profiles (CP) for usage and billing metrics.
