Reltio Zero Copy integration with Snowflake at a glance
Explore how Reltio federates Snowflake data into Intelligent 360 without copying or duplicating it.
What is Reltio Zero Copy integration with Snowflake?
Reltio Zero Copy integration with Snowflake is an integration capability that enables Reltio Intelligent 360TM to access interaction and transaction data stored in Snowflake in real time, without extracting or duplicating that data into Reltio. Instead of using ETL pipelines, the platform federates secure, filtered queries directly to Snowflake and merges the results with existing profile views in Reltio Intelligent 360TM. The result is a unified, up-to-date customer timeline without added storage or governance complexity.
Who is this for?
This feature supports technical teams responsible for integrating external data into Reltio Intelligent 360TM without sacrificing performance or compliance:
Data Product Owner
Data Steward
Reltio Configurator
What does it do?
This integration enables Reltio Intelligent 360TM to:
- Connect securely to Snowflake using public-private key authentication
- Map Snowflake tables to interaction types via API
- Query Snowflake on demand to retrieve the latest data for each profile
- Link external data to entities in Reltio Intelligent 360TM using crosswalk IDs
- Avoid storing or replicating Snowflake data inside Reltio
Why use this integration?
Zero Copy integration for Snowflake helps organizations:
- Reduce data redundancy and avoid ETL processes
- Deliver governed, source-of-truth data to business users in real time
- Streamline compliance by keeping sensitive data in Snowflake
- Enhance Intelligent 360 timelines with rich external context
What data is supported?
This feature supports external interaction data only. Entity demographic data should continue to be loaded into Reltio for identity resolution. Interactions fetched from Snowflake are joined to profiles using configured crosswalks. Additional data types may be supported in future phases.
How is it configured?
This capability is currently API-only. Data engineers can use a set of REST APIs to:
- Set up a secure connection to a Snowflake instance
- Store credentials securely using AWS Secrets Manager
- Map Snowflake tables and columns to interaction types in Reltio
- Define which fields should appear in timelines
